Post Mortem Mea Culpa

A promise is a promise but he just won't go away. From Fox News a story about an upcoming memoir from Ted Kennedy. Published posthumously it apparently contains little gems like this one.

Kennedy says his actions on Chappaquiddick on July 18, 1969, were "inexcusable." He says he was afraid and "made terrible decisions" and had to live with the guilt for more than four decades.

Forty years later and published only after it would not effect his continued service in the US Senate. A bit late, don't you think?

I wonder if he says anything about his defiance of fundamental Catholic doctrine and his unfettered support of abortion rights? Frankly, I am not curious enough give the Kennedy family any more of my money. Through their efforts in Washington they have taken enough already.
