Riddle me this

Enough is enough. Representative so and so and Senator so and so have been taking their beatings at various public events. Good. That is the basis of representative democracy and these self aggrandizing omniscient bottom dwellers need to be called to task for their wholesale skip to my lou down the path of socialism.

Now the President is at a town hall meeting where not one person is challenging him on the problems with Nationalized Health Care. An auditorium full of toadies and cowards if you ask me. That may be the problem. They won't ask me, or you, or anyone who is going to wind up footing the bill for this folly.

Today the President said, "Where we disagree, let's disagree over things that are real, not these wild misrepresentations that don't bear any resemblance to anything that's actually being proposed," Obama said, trying to wrest back control over the debate.

Allright Mr. President. Be careful what you wish for. What brand of democracy or for that matter justice is going to force a National Healthcare system on the population and force the middle class to foot the bill. By what mandate do you feel you have the right to take from my family and give it to someone Else's.

Please don't misunderstand me. I believe in the absolute moral obligation to care for others through charity. It is the way I was raised. But the government is not a charitable institution. It is a self perpetuating money sucking monster that feeds on the futures of working class families.

So I have to ask, even if I know the answer and know that Mr. Obama will not give me the courtesy of a reply. By what right do you take my money, or alter my family's heatlh care to afford benefits to an obese person with carpal tunnel, a chronic alcoholic or just your garden variety slug who despite having two arms and legs that are in working order refuses to take one affirmative step to improving the position of his family through hard work? (cut to crickets chirping)
